What is Hyrox ?
Hyrox is the fitness competition that is redefining functional endurance. Created in 2017, this indoor race format combines 8 km of running and 8 functional workout stations — ski erg, rowing, sled push, burpees, wall balls — for a full-body challenge completed under one roof, against the clock, and accessible to all levels.
Unlike CrossFit, Hyrox follows a standardized format that is identical in every competition worldwide. This means one thing: progress is measurable, training is highly targeted, and every session brings you closer to a concrete goal.
At Uperform, we have built a complete Hyrox offer: group classes inspired by the format to help you discover and progress, and individual competition preparation coaching for those who want to cross the finish line with a time they can be proud of.

The Hyrox format: simple, brutal, addictive
A Hyrox race always follows the same order:
1 km running → Station 1: SkiErg (1,000 m) 1 km running → Station 2: Sled Push (50 m) 1 km running → Station 3: Sled Pull (50 m) 1 km running → Station 4: Burpee Broad Jumps (80 m) 1 km running → Station 5: Rowing (1,000 m) 1 km running → Station 6: Farmer’s Carry (200 m) 1 km running → Station 7: Sandbag Lunges (100 m) 1 km running → Station 8: Wall Balls (75–100 reps)
The format exists in individual, doubles, and relay categories. Loads vary depending on divisions (Open, Pro, Mixed). Everyone runs the same race — which is what makes Hyrox universal and unifying.

Our Hyrox offer
Our Hyrox group classes are designed to replicate competition conditions in a motivating and progressive group format. Each session works through the 8 stations of the official format — cardio endurance, functional strength, mental resilience — with loads and volumes adapted to your level.
These classes are suitable both for newcomers discovering the concept and for regular participants looking to maintain their fitness between competitions. The group energy, music, and timed format create an intensity that is difficult to replicate alone.
Hyrox Coaching — Competition Preparation
Have a race coming up? Our individual coaching program prepares you in a structured and personalized way so you can arrive at the start line in the best possible condition.
Your coach analyzes your strengths and weaknesses — running pace, technical stations, effort management — and builds a tailored training plan over 8 to 16 weeks depending on your competition date. Each block is progressive, each session has a clear objective. Nothing is left to chance.

The pillars of preparation
What we work on
Cardiorespiratory endurance: Hyrox is прежде all about running. We develop your aerobic capacity, running pace, and heart rate management between stations to avoid blowing up mid-race.
Functional strength: Sled push, sandbag lunges, wall balls — these stations require specific strength that we build through targeted and progressive training, using actual competition loads.
Transition capacity: The real challenge in Hyrox is transitioning — moving from running to functional effort without breaking down. We train this metabolic switching ability that makes the difference between finishing strong or collapsing.
Station technique: Each station has an optimal technique that helps preserve energy. We refine your execution on the SkiErg, rowing machine, burpees, and wall balls so every rep is efficient — not just endured.
Mental & race strategy: Having a race plan, knowing your splits, and understanding when to push or pace yourself — the tactical side of Hyrox is often overlooked. We prepare you to compete, not just survive.

Uperform synergies
The Uperform advantage: more than just training
Preparing for Hyrox at Uperform means benefiting from a complete ecosystem that you won’t find anywhere else in Brussels.
Sports physiotherapy: The intensity of Hyrox places significant stress on the knees, shoulders, lower back, and ankles. Our sports physiotherapists work alongside your preparation to prevent injuries, treat minor issues before they become injuries, and optimize recovery between training blocks.
Personal training: Your Hyrox coach can rely on our personal trainers for complementary strength sessions — core stability, mobility, asymmetrical work — that support your performance in the stations and reduce injury risk.
Nutrition: Hyrox preparation involves a high training load. Our dietitians-nutritionists can support you with energy management, nutritional recovery, and race-day nutrition strategy.
