Mathias Doornaert

I am Mathias, a physiotherapist who graduated four years ago from Parnasse-ISEI. I work in the field of motor disabilities and, alongside this, I am in charge of the medical unit at my rugby club. I enjoy building bridges between the different aspects of my practice. This has led me, for the past three years, to get involved in a non-profit organization that promotes parasports and inclusion. Trained in Exercise Medicine and sports physiotherapy, I like to make the patient an active partner in their care. I am convinced that physical activity is a therapeutic tool in its own right. Thanks to my various roles, I enjoy working just as much with patients suffering from chronic conditions as with those with acute injuries, helping them to achieve the best version of themselves. I am passionate about sport in all its forms! I am an active rugby player, practice athletics for leisure, and played tennis and judo when I was younger. I would be delighted to share this energy and sporting spirit that we all have within us!
